2017 (RS-Freshman): Started the season with three consecutive multi-hit performances...Made the most of his first career start, going 2-for-3 against Kent State (2.18)... Recorded a team-best 4-for-7 at the plate in the opening weekend...Launched his first collegiate home run five pitches into the WKU game (2.22)...Collected six multi-hit games through BU’s first eight contests... Registered three hits in three consecutive games against Northwestern (2.24), Bowling Green (2.25) and Southern Illinois (2.28)...Led the squad with 15 hits in the first two weeks... Registered a pair of multi-hit games against Eastern Illinois (4.13-14) contributing three RBIs on a three-run long ball in the series opener... Tallied multi-hit performances in all three games at Jacksonville State (4.21-22)... Scored a career-best three runs vs Murray State (4.30)... Blasted two home runs, including registering the game-winning run, in the extra inning win at Tennessee Tech (5.8)... Recorded three consecutive multi-hit performances (5.8-10)... 2016: Sitting out due to NCAA transfer rules.

Prior to Belmont: Competed at Old Dominion University before transferring to Belmont last season ... In Cogen's last season at ODU he played in the first 13 games of the season before succumbing to an Achilles injury ... Cogen produced a line that saw him hit .326 with three doubles and an on base percentage of .436 out of the leadoff spot ... Cogen is a Midstate product that prepped at Battle Ground Academy for Brad Myers ... During his senior year at BGA, Cogen hit .465 with three homeruns, 39 RBI's, and was 22 for 22 in stolen base attempts ... For his efforts, he was awarded as the Midstate Player of the Year, District MVP, as well as being selected First Team All-State by the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association and the Tennessee Sports Writers Association.
