Ehren Headed to Belmont

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont Baseball coach Dave Jarvis and the Baseball Staff are pleased to announce the signing of Austin Ehren for the 2018-2019 season.

Hailing from Hawthorn Woods, Ill., Ehren is a four-year starter in the outfield at Carmel Catholic High School. Under the direction of head coach Bill Taylor, he earned ESCC all-conference honors in 2016 and 2017 as well as ESCC all-area honors in 2017. 

"Austin is a plus runner that can really defend in the centerfield.  He also is another great athlete that also had much success as a soccer player at Carmel Catholic," assistant coach Aaron Smith said. "At the plate, Austin is a top of the order better that realy controls the strike zone and can pressure the defense."

In the off season, Ehren plays for the Top Tier Americans in Chicago, Ill.
