Bruins Give Back

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – During its offseason, the Belmont baseball team makes an effort to get out in the community and help serve others through a variety of ways, including putting on fall camps for youth. This past Saturday the Bruins hosted their 14th annual Parkwood Clinic as they welcomed members of the Parkwood Baseball Association to E.S. Rose Park.

BU spent the morning conducting drills, hosting batting practice, and playing a game with Nashville's inner city youth.

"These events give us an opportunity to give back to the city and to the game of baseball," said head coach Dave Jarvis. "We love getting to help teach kids more about the game as well as building relationships with our supporters."

The Bruins will host another camp Saturday morning, Nov. 18.
