NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont men's basketball continues a four-game homestand Saturday against Mercer.
The Bruins set a new Curb Event Center record with 30 assists on 37 made field goals in Thursday night's 98-52 victory over Kennesaw State. Moreover, Belmont made a season-high 15 three-point field goals and committed only four turnovers.
Redshirt junior Brandon Baker (Milford, Ohio) established new career-highs in scoring (16) and rebounding (9) against the Owls, while junior Kerron Johnson (Huntsville, Ala.) continued his fine play with a double-double of 13 points and 10 assists.
