Men's Golf Adds Four for the 2010-11 Season

Nashville, Tenn. - The Belmont University men's golf program announces the addition of four players for the 2010-2011 season.

Logan Hance (White Pine, Tennessee -- Jefferson County HS) -- Hance prepped at Jefferson County High School, where he played in four Tennessee Class AAA State Tournaments, posting top-20 finishes during his junior and senior years.

Max Markley - (Lookout Mountain, Georgia -- The McCallie School) - Markley was named first team Best of the Preps by the Chattanooga Times Free Press as a senior. While at McCallie, he played in two Tennessee Division II -AA State Tournaments, finishing in the top-20 both times, including a 14th place showing in 2009.

David Novinger (Knoxville, Tennessee - Webb HS) - Novinger finished fourth in the Tennessee Division II-A State Tournament as senior as he helped lead Webb to a third place finish as a team. He was also named to the Knoxville News-Sentinel's 2009 PrepXtra All-Region Team.

Ben Simpson (Lexington, Kentucky - Henry Clay HS) - Simpson finished tied for seventh at the 2009 Kentucky State Championship, where he helped lead his Henry Clay team to a third place finish.

During the 2009-10 season, the men's golf program posted six top-10 finishes, including a season-best fifth place showing at the Murray State Fall Invitational.
