Men's Golf Stands 11th after Day One of the Mizzou Intercollegiate; Moon Tied for Fifth
COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The Belmont men's golf team stands in 11th place after day one of the Mizzou Intercollegiate held Monday in Columbia, Missouri.
The Bruins posted team scores of 308 and 306 for a 36-hole total of 614, which puts them in 11th place. Host Missouri is the tournament leader at 564.
Belmont is led by freshman Ted Moon, who is tied for 5th place at 142. He carded rounds of 67 and 75 on day one. Other Belmont scores from Monday's play included: junior Elliott Wickenden (T-53rd, 155), freshman Chris Thurman (T69th, 158), freshman Carson Ward (T73rd, 159), and Ben Simpson (74th, 160).
The third and final round will begin Tuesday morning.
