Men's Golf Stands 10th after Second Round of the A-Sun Championship

BRASELTON, Ga. -- The Belmont men's golf team is in 10th place after two rounds of the A-Sun Championship held Tuesday at The Legends Course at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia.

The Bruins shot a team score of 302 in Tuesday's second round to stand in 10th place with a 36-hole score of 615.  North Florida has the team lead at 573.

Freshman Ted Moon and sophomore Ben Simpson lead Belmont as they are tied for 27th place 152.  Moon carded a 73 on Tuesday, while Simpson shot a 74.  Junior Elliott Wickenden is tied for 36th place at 155.  In addition, freshmen Carson Ward and Chris Thurman are tied for 41st place after each carded a score of 157 for the first two days of play.

The third and final round of the championship will begin Wednesday morning at 7:00am CT.  Live scoring from the championship can be found through Golfstat.com or through AtlanticSun.org.
