NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team spends another week in Middle Tennessee as it competes at the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate held Monday and Tuesday at Richland Country Club in Nashville.
The Bruins enter the tournament coming off a 13th place finish at the Mason Rudolph Championship last weekend. Freshman McCullough Pickens led BU as he tied for 40th place. For the season, Pickens ranks third on the team in scoring at 75.3 behind freshman Nate Thomson (74.9) and sophomore Daniel Booker (75.2).
This week's Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate will be two day, 54-hole event with 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. It will be played on one of the top courses in the Midstate, Richland Country Club at a par 71 and a yardage of 6,925 yards.
The field features 14 teams and includes programs such as Chattanooga, Lipscomb, Ole Miss, Mercer, Samford, and Western Kentucky.
