NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After a week off, the Belmont men's golf team returns to action this Monday and Tuesday at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley in Cashiers, North Carolina.
Belmont enters the tournament hoping to bounce back from a 10th place performance at the Memphis Intercollegiate. They were led in Memphis by sophomore Nate Thomson, who finished in a tie for 24th place at 221.
The Hummingbird Intercollegiate is two-day, 54-hole event hosted by Western Carolina with 36 holes played on Monday and 18 holes contested on Tuesday. It will be played at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley in Cashiers, North Carolina and will play to a par 71 and a length of 6,767 yards. The field features 13 teams, including three OVC squads: Belmont Austin Peay, and Tennessee Tech. This marks the third time in six years that the Bruins will be playing in the tournament.
