NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont University men's soccer team (3-3-2) travels to Raleigh, NC to take on North Carolina State (4-4-2) Tuesday evening.
The Bruins played just 48 hours ago in Cleveland, Ohio as they took on Horizon League foe Cleveland State.
The Vikings took a quick 2-0 lead in the match, but Belmont would rally and cut the deficit in half just before halftime. The Bruins launched a beautiful attack in the last minute of the first half when senior Adriano Balani (Durres, Albania) made a terrific cross that junior Adam Voloder (New South Wales, Australia) got a head on six yards out and squeezed the ball inside the left post.
BU created many chances in the second half, but their valiant comeback efforts fell short. The Vikings would ultimately win the match 2-1.
