Brian Baker's Tennis Comeback Garnering Local and National Attention

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The improbable comeback by Belmont men's tennis assistant coach Brian Baker has been garnering attention both locally and nationally.

Baker, who has been hampered by injuries the last seven years, will be competing as a wild card entrant in next week's French Open in Paris.  It will be his first appearance in a Grand Slam tournament since the 2005 US Open.  He will find out his first round opponent when the tournament draw is announced this Friday.

This past weekend, The Tennessean and Wall Street Journal, posted feature stories about the Nashville native.
