Women's Tennis Loses at Jacksonville 6-1

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Belmont women's tennis team fell to Jacksonville 6-1 in an Atlantic Sun Conference match played Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Dolphins won the first point of the match as they swept all three doubles matches.  They clinched the match victory as they captured five of the six singles matches.  The lone Belmont win came at number three singles as Catherine Holliday defeated Gabriela Bartos 6-1, 5-7, 6-1.

Belmont (5-11, 2-5 A-Sun) is back on the court next Frdiay as they host Stetson at 1:00pm at Centennial Sportsplex.
