Volleyball Announces Spring Schedule
NASHVILLE, Tenn.-- Belmont volleyball will get its first test of the spring when the team travels to Austin Peay on Tuesday, April 17th at 6 p.m. The team will also take part in a tournament at Western Kentucky on Saturday, April 21st, beginning at 10 a.m.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont senior Maggie Johnson picked up yet another postseason award when she was named Honorable Mention for the AVCA All-South Region team, the AVCA announced Tuesday. The senior was named the Atlantic Sun Co-Player of the Year and finished second all-time in the conference in career kills.

Belmont was named one of a record 481 schools to receive the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association Team Academic Award for the 2010-11 season. The Bruins continued a tradition of academic success as they picked up the award for the fourth time in the past seven years. Belmont ranked 16th amongst all Division I teams in team grade point average and were the highest ranked team in the Atlantic Sun.
