NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University cross country and track & field spent Saturday, Sept. 8, serving alongside Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes in order to help create a special day for the kids and families of the community.
Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes, or TBCH, is a Christian organization that helps children whose parents are unable to provide the day-to-day care that every child needs by placing kids in loving foster homes.
TBCH has been around for 127 years providing on-campus, Christ-centered homes for at-risk children.
Belmont cross country and track & field used this opportunity to serve the Brentwood TBCH campus. They helped with several needs, including a major clean-up of the gym and moving furniture and files for an office relocation project.
Afterwards, the Bruins grilled out for the families, played interactive games, flag football, and basketball with the kids.
