NASHVILLE, Tenn. –Senior women's golfer Julia Nittoli (San Antonio, Texas) and sophomore men's soccer player Niccolo Dagnoni (Milan, Italy) have been named Trane Student-Athletes of the Month for October.
Nittoli had a great start to her senior season for the women's golf team. In the team's first event, she won the individual title at the Morehead State/Greenbrier Invitational with a score of 217. It was her first individual title of her Belmont career and the first for the program since 2017. For her efforts, she was named OVC Golfer of the Week. She currently ranks second on the team in scoring with a 77.3 average.
Dagnoni has been an offensive spark for the men's soccer team during the month of September. He scored three goals and had three assists during the month, which led to two victories for Belmont. Currently he leads the team in goals, assists, and shots on goal. He also ranks among the top-five in the Southern Conference in those same categories.
