NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University senior men's golf student-athlete Scott Barnhart (Lexington, Ky.) and redshirt sophomore men's basketball student-athlete Josh Lester (Antioch, Tenn.) have been selected to take part in the 2016 NCAA Career in Sports Forum.

The Career in Sports Forum, an annual educational forum hosted by the NCAA, brings together 200 selected student-athletes to learn and explore potential careers in sports, with the primary focus on college athletics.

This four-day forum is designed to assist student-athletes in charting their career paths, as well as provide an opportunity to network and learn from current athletics professionals. Attendees hear from a variety of speakers and panelists during large, general sessions, and throughout the program engage with peers in focused, small-group classroom discussions.

In April, sophomore women's basketball student-athlete Sierra Jones represented Belmont University at the 2016 Student-Athlete Leadership Forum in Phoenix.

Barnhart, a four-year letterwinner for the Bruin golf team, was an integral part of a Belmont squad that won six tournaments and led the 2016 OVC Championship with nine holes remaining.

Lester, a two-year letterwinner for the Bruin men's basketball team, has made 28 game appearances and contributed to consecutive conference championship teams.

The 2016 Career in Sports Forum will take place June 2-5, 2016 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the NCAA national office.
