NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Former Belmont University men's basketball All-American Ian Clark ('13) and the reigning NBA Champion Golden State Warriors will look to complete their historic regular season Wednesday versus the Memphis Grizzlies.
With a victory, Golden State (72-9) would post the best regular season mark in NBA history, eclipsing the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' record of 72-10.
Clark, who played a vital fourth quarter role in Sunday night's victory at San Antonio - snapping the Spurs' 48-game home court win streak, is averaging 3.6 points per game in 66 appearances this season.
The Memphis, Tennessee native ranked fifth in the NBA in three-point shooting for a two-month period from late November to late January, behind only J.J. Redick, Devin Harris, Kawhi Leonard, and Omri Casspi.
Belmont fans can watch Clark and the Warriors tonight at 9:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
