NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf is back in action this Monday and Tuesday at the Memphis Intercollegiate in Cordova, Tennessee.
The Bruins are coming off a seventh place finish at last week's Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational. They were led by a pair of seniors, Daniel Booker and Noah Trenkler. Both players tied for third place at 137. Booker posted rounds of 68 and 69, while Trenkler returned to competitive golf after nearly two years with rounds of 70 and 67. They currently rank second in the OVC in scoring average at 68.5.
This week's Memphis Intercollegiate is a two-day, 54-hole event, with 36 holes contested on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. It will be held on the South Course at Colonial Country Club in Cordova, Tennessee and play to a par-72 and a length of 7,241 yards.
The field features 10 teams including host Memphis, Belmont, Chattanooga, Stetson, and two other OVC programs: Austin Peay and Tennessee State.
