BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Belmont men's tennis team is picked to finish second in the Ohio Valley Conference Preseason Poll as announced by the conference office Friday. 

In a vote by the league's head coaches, defending champion Tennessee Tech is picked win the OVC title with 24 points and four first place votes.  The Bruins are right behind in second with two first place votes and a total of 21 points.  Jacksonville State is slated third with 18 points.  Rounding out the poll were Austin Peay (11), Eastern Illinois (10), and Tennessee State (6).

In addition, three Bruins were included on the OVC Preseason Player Top-10 Rankings: junior Henrik Inno, sophomore Marko Ilic, and junior Vincent Sterkens

The Bruins, who are 2-1 on the spring season, head to Ohio this weekend for the trio of matches.  They play at Dayton on Friday, Xavier on Saturday, and Wright State on Sunday.
