DADE CITY, Fla. – The Belmont women's golf team finished in 15th place at this week's WKU Spring Break Shootout held at the Lake Jovita Golf Club in Dade City, Florida.

Belmont carded a team score of 321 in the final round Tuesday to finish in 15th place with a 54-hole total of 941.  FGCU won the team title on a fifth player tiebreaker over host Western Kentucky.

Leading the way for the Bruins was freshman Katelyn Dunstan.  The Arkansas native carded a 78 in the final round to finish in a tie for 10th place at 216.  It was her first top-10 finish of her collegiate career.  Alisa Clark of FGCU was the individual medalist at 206. 

Other Belmont scores included: sophomore Maribeth Peevy (T-76, 239), freshman Cameron Fish (T-79, 241), junior Julia Nittoli (85th, 249), junior Carlee Nanney (86th, 260).

The women's golf team will be back on the course this Sunday-Tuesday, March 17-19, at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate held at Sevierville Country Club in Sevierville, Tennessee.
