NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team hits the links again this weekend as they compete at Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Sevierville, Tennessee.
The squad is coming off a disappointing 15th place finish at the WKU Spring Break Shootout. Freshman Katelyn Dunstan led the team as she posted her first top-10 finish of her Belmont career.
Senior Emma Kate Liu, who did not play in Florida last week due to illness, continues to lead the team in scoring with a 76.0 average. She has three top-10 finishes. Dunstan is right behind Liu in scoring with a 76.8 average.
This week's Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, hosted by Tennessee Tech, is a three-day, 54-hole event, with 18 holes contested on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. It will be held at the Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, TN and play to a par 71 and a length of 5,803 yards. The field features 13 teams, including five OVC teams: Belmont, Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Tennessee State, and Tennessee Tech.
First round play will begin Sunday morning with a 9:00am CT shotgun start.
