MURRAY, Ky. – The Belmont women's golf team stands in 11th place after day one of the Jan Weaver Invitational held Friday at the Miller Memorial Golf Course in Murray, Kentucky.
The Bruins carded rounds of 307 and 316 on Friday to finish the day in 11th place at 623. Host Murray State has the lead at 585, while Eastern Kentucky is second at 587.
Leading the way for Belmont is freshman Cameron Fish. The Florida native posted rounds of 78 and 75 to finish the day in a tie for 26th place at 153. Junior Carlee Nanney is two shots behind and in a tie for 38th place at 155. She shot rounds of 75 and 80 on Friday.
The third and final round will begin Saturday morning with an 8:30am shotgun start.
