MURRAY, Ky. – The Belmont women's golf team wrapped up the regular season with a ninth place finish at the Jan Weaver Invitational held this weekend at Miller Memorial Golf Course in Murray, Kentucky.
Belmont carded a final round 313 to move up two spots to ninth place at 936. Eastern Kentucky was the team champion at 884, while Rutgers was second at 887.
Freshman Cameron Fish paced the Bruins this weekend. She shot a 77 in the final round to finish in a tie for 25th place at 230. It was her third top-25 finish of the season.
Eastern Kentucky's Elsa Moberly was the individual medalist at 211.
The women's golf team has a week off before heading to Alabama for the OVC Championship. It is set for April 15-17 in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
