CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team stands in seventh place after day one of the APSU Intercollegiate held Monday at Clarksville Country Club in Clarksville, Tennessee.

On an unseasonably hot September day that saw temperatures reach the upper 90s, Belmont carded rounds of 325 and 317 to finish the day in seventh place out of nine teams at 642.  IUPUI has the team lead at 599, while host Austin Peay is in second at 603. 

Three Bruins are among the top-30 after 36 holes.  Sophomore Katelyn Dunstan is tied for 15th place at 156.  She posted two rounds of 78 on Monday.  She is 12 shots behind the individual leader, Amelie Svejda of IUPUI. 

Senior Carlee Nanney is tied for 27th place after shooting rounds of 80 and 81 for a 161 total.  Fellow senior Julia Nittoli is tied for 30th place at 163.  She carded rounds of 84 and 79. 

Sophomore Cameron Fish is three shots back of Nittoli and in a tie for 36th place at 166, while junior Ann Catherine Blackburn is tied for 42nd place at 165.

Two Bruins are competing as individuals.  Junior Maribeth Peevy is tied for 32nd at 164, while freshman Lily Gulley is tied for 34th place at 165.
