Lady Red Wolves Classic Preview

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team gets back on the course this Monday and Tuesday at the Lady Red Wolves Classic in Jonesboro, Arkansas. 

The Bruins enter this week's tournament after placing seventh at the APSU Intercollegiate two weeks ago.  Sophomore Katelyn Dunstan led the team as she finished in a tie for 16th with a 54-hole score of 235. 

Dunstan leads the team in scoring through two events. She has an average of 77.2 and has posted two top-20 finishes.  Senior Julia Nittoli is just behind Dunstan in scoring at 77.3 and has carded two rounds under par through six rounds.  Both rank among the top-25 in the OVC in scoring.

The Lady Red Wolves Classic, hosted by Arkansas State, will be a two-day, 54-hole event with 36 holes contested on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.  It will be held at Sage Meadows Golf Course in Jonesboro, Arkansas and the course will play to a par 72 and a length of 6,138 yards.

The field features nine teams including: host Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Belmont, Lipscomb, Little Rock, Samford, Southern Illinois, Texas-Arlington, and Washington University – St. Louis. 

Day one play of the event will begin Monday morning at 8:00am.
