BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Sophomore women's golfer Katelyn Dunstan has been named OVC Golfer of the Week as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
Dunstan shared the individual title at the Town and Country Invitational hosted by Tennessee State at McCabe Golf Course. The sophomore fired rounds of 69 and 71 to finish at 140 (even) to share the title with a pair of golfers from Troy (who claimed the team title). The field included four other OVC teams.
It marks the first individual title of her career, her second Top 5 finish of the fall season and her second OVC Golfer of the Week honor of the fall season.
In addition, Dunstan leads the team and ranks third in the OVC in stroke average at 74.5.
Dunstan and her Belmont teammates have completed their fall season. They will begin play this spring at the UTSA Kauth Invitational, March 10-11, at San Antonio, Texas.
