NASHVILLE, TENN. – The Belmont women's tennis team will host Cumberland Saturday night at Centennial Sportsplex.
After last week's win against IUPUI, the Bruins are currently 4-4 on the season. Freshman Peyton Lee is on a roll with a four match win streak.
Director of Tennis Mauricio Antun said he has seen a lot of improvement compared to where the team started at the beginning of the year.
"I feel as if we are starting to click in doubles and putting together some very good singles matches," Antun said. "We want to keep the momentum going, this team is hungry to do well and get better."
Cumberland is currently 0-3 for the season with 7-0 losses to Murray State and APSU, two teams the Bruins will be facing later this season.
First serve is set for 6 p.m. in Nashville, Tenn.
