Strength in Numbers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After the final signing period, the Belmont women's cross country and track and field program looks to have yielded one of its strongest classes yet.  The Bruins will add Jenna Langdon (Nashville, Tenn.), Jessica Molloy (Birmingham, Ala.), and Hannah Beth Moorhouse (Morristown, Tenn.) for the upcoming 2015-16 season.

2015 Belmont XCTF Signing Class

"Moorhouse, Molloy, and Langdon will all be significant contributors on the women's side," said Belmont's Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jeff Langdon.

Hannah Moorhouse – Morristown, TN
PR: 5'6" High Jump

"Hannah Beth is a great athlete who will be an instant contributor in the high jump.  We have high hopes for her and look forward to watching her develop."

Jessica Molloy – Birmingham, AL
PR: 10:53 3200m, 5:00 1600m, 17:27 5k XC

"Jessica has an impressive high school resume.  Her track times rank as some of the best in the state of Alabama and we are excited to get her adjusted into our training and team philosophy.  She is certainly a star in the making."

Jenna Langdon – Nashville, TN
PR: 15.06 100m Hurdles

"While Jenna is primarily a hurdler, she will be taking on the multi-events and relays as a collegiate athlete.  She will bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the team."

"This group of women will be joining our fall signees – LaCarol Baynes (14.55 and 41.72 for 100/300 hurdles), Bailee Dean (10:35 3200 meters), Mallory Young (5:04 and 11:12 for 1600 and 3200 meters), Annelise Doerr (57 for 400 meters), and multi athlete Riley Kellum (45.00 for 300 hurdles).  This will be, by far, the most talented incoming class we have ever had," said Langdon.
