Women's Track and Field Adds One More

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's track and field team will look for an immediate impact with its latest addition in signee in sophomore thrower Karly Hibbard (Edmonds, Wash.).

Hibbard joins the Bruins after spending one year at former conference rival Lipscomb, where she qualified for NCAA Regionals meet as a freshman in Javelin.   She also went on to earn the Atlantic Sun conference title in Javelin.

"Karly will make a big impact immediately in the OVC," said Assistant Coach Joe Frye.  "Her overall athleticism and strength will help her develop into a great combo thrower.  She's already competed at the national level, and she'll be going back there for the next three years as a Bruin."
