Keeping Momentum

Keeping Momentum

OXFORD, Ala. – The Belmont University women's track and field team completed day two of competition at the OVC championship on Friday.

The Bruins were led by sophomore Hannah Beth Moorhouse's (Morristown, Tenn.) performance in the high jump.  Her mark of 1.60 meters gave her a top five finish to cap off her season.
In the 400 meter dash, sophomore Annelise Doerr (Fountain Valley, Calif.) put together her all-time best race crossing the finish line at 59.44.

"It was a solid outing for the ladies today.  We were able to go out and get some points that we weren't supposed to get.  Hopefully we can keep that rolling into tomorrow," Said Associate Head Coach Cameron Harvey.

The Bruins will look to keep their momentum going tomorrow as they compete in day three of the championship at Choccolocco Park.
