Whitt has a been key player in the success of the men’s basketball program.  He ranks second on the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game and is second in the MVC in assists at 4.9 per game.  He hit the game-winning shot versus Illinois State on December 4 and for his efforts was named MVC Player of the Week.  In addition, he scored a season-high 25 points twice in a month span… against UC-Irvine on December 19 and later against Indiana State on January 11.
