MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team stands in 12th place after day one of the Blue Raider Invitational held Monday at Old Fort Golf Course in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
BU carded rounds of 312 and 313 on Monday to finish the day with a 36-hole score of 625. Host MTSU has the team lead at 589, while UALR is in second at 592.
Senior Evin Edens leads the way for Belmont. She is tied for 25th place at 151 after carding rounds of 79 and 72 on Monday. Freshman Katie Story is tied for 45th place at 158. She posted score of 80 and 78 during Monday's play. Other Belmont scores from day one included: freshman Mallory Sullivan (T-58, 160), sophomore Megan Heath (T-58, 160), and sophomore Alexi Bevans (T-58, 160).
Sophomore Abbie Gregory is competing as an individual and is tied for 75th place at 164.
The third and final round will begin Tuesday morning with a 8:30am shotgun start.
