GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Belmont women's golf team wrapped up their fall campaign with a 10th place finish at the UAB Fall Beach Blast held this week at The Peninsula Golf Club in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Belmont posted a team score of 310 in Tuesday's final round to finish the event in 10th place with a two round score of 615. Houston Baptist won the team title with a score of 584, while Sam Houston State was second at 591.
Two Bruins finished among the top-40. Freshman Mallory Sullivan tied for 20th place with a score of 151. She carded a final round score of 75 on Tuesday. Sophomore Megan Heath tied for 36th place at 155 after shooting a 78 on the final day of play. Other Belmont scores from the tournament included: freshman Katie Story (42nd, 156), senior Sydney Hudson (T-43, 157), and senior Evin Edens (52nd, 162).
West Florida's Paloma Vaccaro won individual medalist honors with a mark of 143.
This event wraps up the fall campaign for the women's golf team. In five events, they posted three top-six finishes, including earning first place at the APSU Intercollegiate earlier this month.
