OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team finished second at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate held Monday at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
Belmont posted a team score of 320 on Monday to finish in second place behind tournament champion Lipscomb. Trevecca placed third at 326.
All five BU starters (Sydney Hudson, Abbie Gregory, Evin Edens, Megan Heath, and Shay Sullivan) finished tied for seventh as each of them shot an eight-over par 80. The individual medalist was Miriam Parker of Lipscomb, who carded a 73.
Freshman Alexi Bevans competed as an individual and tied for 13th after shooting an 82.
The women's golf team is now off for a couple of weeks before returning to the links on Wednesday, April 9 when they play Lipscomb in a dual match at Old Hickory Country Club.
