Monday Struggle

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team is in 17th place after day one of the Blue Raider Invitational held Monday at Old Fort Golf Course in Murfreesboro.  The second round was not completed due to darkness. 

After 34 holes of play on Monday, the Bruins stood in 17th place with a score +85.  Host MTSU had the team lead at +13, while Troy was second at +38.

Belmont was led by junior Abbie Gregory and freshman Emma Kate Liu.  Both are tied for 66th place with a score of +19.  Sophomore Mallory Sullivan is one shot back and is tied for 71st place at +20.  Junior Megan Heath is tied for 86th at +27, while junior Alexi Bevans is tied for 88th at +29.

MTSU's Avery George has the individual lead at -5.

The second round will be completed Tuesday morning starting at 7:30am.  The third and final round will begin at approximately 9:15am.
