MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team finished in 16th place at this week's Blue Raider Invitational held at old Fort Golf Course in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
The Bruins posted a team score of 308 on Tuesday to finish in 16th place with a score of 983. Host MTSU won the team title at 883. Troy placed second at 910, while Eastern Michigan was third at 922.
Belmont was led by junior Abbie Gregory for the fourth straight event. The Hendersonville, Tennessee native finished in 51st place with a score of 239. She carded a 74 in the final round. Sophomore Mallory Sullivan tied for 61st place with a mark of 243.
Other Belmont scores included: junior Megan Heath (T-79, 251), freshman Emma Kate Liu (T80th, 252), and junior Alexi Bevans (T-89, 259).
The women's golf team will be back in action on November 2-3 at the UAB Fall Beach Blast in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
