NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Junior women's basketball player
Madison Bartley (Kettering, Ohio) and graduate student men's tennis player
Marko Ilic (Zagreb, Croatia) have been named Trane Student-Athletes of the Month for February.
Bartley has been a key part of the women's basketball team's six game winning streak. She has scored at least 15 points in the last seven games, including a season-high 26 versus Missouri State. Currently, she ranks second on the team and ninth in the conference in scoring at 14.0 points per game and is fourth in the MVC in field goal percentage (.498). For her efforts, she has earned MVC and TSWA Player of the Week honors for the last two weeks.
Ilic has been instrumental in the men's tennis team's 4-0 start to the spring season. Playing at the #1 position in both singles and doubles, he currently has a 3-1 singles dual record and a 4-0 mark in doubles. For his work on the court, he earned Horizon League Singles and Doubles Player of the Week on February 1 (he shared the doubles award with teammate
Riccardo Trione).
