Bruins Remain Perfect in Horizon League Play, Improve to 15-5 on the Season

ST. The Bruins, who move to 15-5 on the year and 6-0 in the Horizon League with the triumph, were dominant throughout the top five singles matches after securing the doubles point with wins on courts one and two.

The nationally-ranked No. 1 doubles tandem of graduate student Marko Ilic and junior Riccardo Trione clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win over Lindenwood's Carlos Rodriguez Gonzalez and Anton de la Puente after senior Jack Randall and junior Alfred Wallin dismissed the Lions' Alonso De Prada and Fernando Martin Paz in quick order (6-0) at the second spot. The duo of junior Tomas Luis and sophomore Ian Cruz led Lindenwood's Mattis Lamm and Pavle Drobjnakovic 5-4 at the third position when Ilic and Trione finished off the doubles point.

In singles play, both Wallin and Cruz earned double bagel, 6-0, 6-0 victories. Wallin routed de la Puente at the No. 2 spot, while Cruz blew past Martin Paz at the fourth flight.
