NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University Athletics announced Monday the
President & Provost Challenge in advance of the Spring 2025 semester.

To build upon positive momentum of student attendance at the Curb Event Center, Belmont University President Dr. Greg Jones and Belmont University Provost Dr. David Gregory have agreed to take part in a student attendance challenge.

For all Belmont home men's and women's basketball games from Jan. 8 through March 2 (17 games), the following challenge has been agreed upon:
Â
- A total student attendance of 6,200: Dr. Jones & Dr. Gregory agree to one (1) DAY of colored hair
- A total student attendance of 7,200: Dr. Jones & Dr. Gregory agree to one (1) WEEK of colored hair

"David and I are excited to celebrate our men's and women's basketball teams and connect with our student body on this fun challenge," Jones said. "I know our students will rise to the occasion. We may need to agree on hair color though. ??"

Belmont men's and women's basketball swept a home doubleheader with Middle Tennessee this past Saturday and are both ranked nationally in the Mid-Major Top 25.
