Why did you choose Belmont?
I loved the community.  It was a smaller school with a Christian foundation.

What is your fondest athletic memory at Belmont?
Coming back to play soccer my senior year after I had exercised induced bilateral anterior thigh compartment syndrome requiring a fasciotomy on each leg.  This happened during winter training my junior year.

Who had the biggest influence on you during your athletic career at Belmont and how?
There were several people who had a big influence during my time at Belmont.  First was my teammate and coach, Renee Rice Schultz, she was my role model.   Next were our athletic trainers – Christy Recinella and Danielle Violette.  Those two were so supportive and kept me playing on the field.

What is the most valuable thing you gained or learned from your time at Belmont?
Resilience – Sometimes life doesn't always go the way you planned it, but you just have to keep moving forward.

What advice would you give to current members of the soccer team?
Take it all in… Your college career goes by really fast, so enjoy those moments and make lots of memories.

Who was your favorite professor and why?
Dr. Nick Ragsdale, who was a biology professor at Belmont and now works in Belmont's medical school.  He laid the foundation for my career in anatomy.

Where do you live now?
Thompsons Station, Tennessee.

What is your occupation and what does your position entail?
I am a physical therapist and rehab supervisor at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital.  My job is split up working in administration and the other working critical care for hospitalized patients.
