NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Graduate women's basketball player
Avery Strickland (Knoxville, Tenn.) and freshman
Eoin Dillon (Peoria, Ill.) have been named Trane Student-Athletes of the Month for February.
Strickland helped her team to a 5-2 during the month of January. She has scored double figures in six of her last eight games and ranks third on the team in scoring with a 12.0 average. Avery scored a season-high 23 points at Evansville and added 20 in a win at Indiana State.
Dillon has made a splash in his first season as a Bruin. He has scored in double figures in six of his last seven games. He scored a career-high 27 versus Murray State and had 23 in a win at Valparaiso. Eoin leads the team in three-point percentage at .506 and ranks second in three-pointers made with 39.
