NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Graduate softball player
Maya Johnson (Columbia Station, Ohio) and junior
Brigham Rogers (Woodstock, Georgia) have been named Trane Student-Athletes of the Month for March.
Johnson has been one of the most dominate pitchers in the country to start the 2026 season. She has a record of 10-1 with a 0.50 ERA and 143 strikeouts. She has pitched a perfect game (Missouri State) and a no hitter (UIC) in her first 11 games. Maya has been named National Pitcher of the Week three times and MVC Pitcher of the Week four times.
Rogers has been a key player off the bench for the Bruins this season. He has played in 32 games and averaged 7.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. The Georgia native was named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team and the MVC's All-Bench Team.
