NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University men's tennis earned a dramatic 4-3 victory over Lipscomb Thursday from Hudson-Griffith Tennis Center.

The Bruins have won eight consecutive matches over Lipscomb in the Boulevard series.

Belmont got a resounding 6-0 victory at first doubles from
Sabi Roi and
Stefan Vedovelli. However, the Bisons earned wins at line two and line three to take the doubles point.

Vedovelli got Belmont on the board with a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Filippo Verdese at No. 2 singles.

Eli Mizerski tied the match at 2-2 with a 7-3, 6-3 victory over Alex Vlahos on line five.

Then after Lipscomb took a 3-2 lead with a win at No. 3 singles, Belmont turned to
Morgan Woodson and Bautista Durells Rojo.

Woodson defeated Oskar Szymczak, 6-3, in the third set to tie the match at 3-3.
Â
Moments later, Durrels Rojo completed his comeback victory over Oliver Thoeny, winning in three sets, 4-6, 7-5, 7-5.

Belmont (5-7) has won three consecutive matches this spring.
