NASHVILLE, Tenn. - -Â Belmont University student-athletes recorded another remarkable semester in the classroom as 2026 spring semester grades were finalized last week.Â
For the 2026 spring semester, the departmental grade-point average (GPA) was 3.449, which marked the 57th consecutive semester that Belmont student-athletes have earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The department GPA for the 2025-26 academic year was 3.478.Â
"Once again, our student-athletes did an amazing job in the classroom," said
Scott Corley, Belmont Vice President/Director of Athletics. "All of the credit goes to our student-athletes, coaches, and academic support staff who continue to work hard every day to maintain our department's commitment to academic excellence."
Highlights from the spring semester included:Â
- 60 percent of student-athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher
- 80 percent of student-athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.0 of higher
- 18 percent of student-athletes earned a perfect 4.00 GPA
- Eight Bruin teams posted a team GPA of 3.5 or higher for the semester.
- All 16 teams posted a team GPA of 3.10 or higher.

Cheer – 3.713
Men's Soccer – 3.618
Women's Soccer – 3.607
Volleyball – 3.605
Softball – 3.565
