PADUCAH, Ky. – The Belmont women's golf team stands in seventh place after day one of The Velvet Classic at the Country Club of Paducah in Paducah, Kentucky.
Belmont carded team scores of 305 and 310 on Monday to finish in seventh place at 615. West Georgia has the team lead at 591, with West Florida and Austin Peay tied for second at 592.
Two Bruins are among the top-20 after 36 holes. Junior
Sloane Biddle posted rounds of 69 and 77 to finish the day tied for fifth place at 146. She is three strokes back of the individual leader, Mariana Arronte of West Florida (143).Â
Sophomore
Lauren Davis is tied for 19
th place at 151 after shooting rounds of 74 and 77.

nd, 165), and senior
Paige Hammarstrom (T-63, 166).
Junior
Ainsley Moore competing as an individual, is tied for 48
th place at 158.
