LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Belmont women's golf team finished in 13
th place at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational held this week at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington.
Belmont shot a final round 310 to finish in 13
th place at 923. Host Kentucky won the team title lead at 839, with Penn State in second at 850.
Junior
Sloane Biddle led the Bruins as she is tied for 16
th place at 216 after shooting a 73 on Tuesday. She finished 10 strokes back of the medalist, Cathryn Brown of Kentucky (206). It was Biddle's 12
th top-20 finish in her last 13 events dating back to last season.
Freshman
Meredith Eller finished in a tie for 55
th place at 229.

The women's golf team will be back in action in a couple of weeks when they play in the Evie Odom Invitational, October 9-11, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
