2023 (Redshirt Junior)
- Ran a season best time of 16:20.1 in the 5K at the Belmont Opener (9/1)
- Recorded a season best time of 24:33.2 in the 8K at the Lehigh Paul Short Run (College) (9/30)
- Scored a season best time of 30:32.0 along with a top-50 finish in the 10K at the NCAA Division I South Region Cross Country Championships (11/10)
Prior to Belmont: Mota is also making the switch from the Fighting Irish to the Bruins. Although a graduate transfer, he will likewise suit up as a redshirt junior athletically. Originally from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, Mota attended Newmarket High School where he was a four-time Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) gold medalist, and was a member of Canada's U20 World Cross Country team. He holds PRs of 8:14 in the 3K and 24:00 in the 8K.
