Prior to arriving in the Music City, Lemken was an All-Peach Belt Conference performer at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. A native of Düsseldorf, Germany (Georg-Büchner Gymnasium), Lemken compiled an impressive 84-30 singles record and an 81-35 doubles mark while earning All-PBC First Team Doubles and All-PBC Second Team Singles honors twice. In Lemken's final three seasons, he helped lead the Saints to three consecutive national quarterfinal appearances, including the national semifinals as a sophomore in 2022 and the Division II title match as a senior in 2024.
Philipp is enrolled in Belmont's Master of Sport Administration program and is set to graduate in May of 2026.
