2025 Outdoor (Senior)
- Ran a season best of 14:20.18 in the 5000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational
- Finished second in the 3000m at the Music City Challenge
- Placed 6th in the 5000m at the MVC Outdoor Championships with a time of 14:29.56
2025 Indoor (Senior)
- Placed 5th in the 5000m at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invite
- Earned a 9th place finish in the Music City Challenge 3000m with a season-best time of 8:17.86
- Finished 7th in the 3000m at the MVC Indoor Championships
Prior to Belmont:Â Mackay joins the Bruins as a transfer from Boise State, where he has competed since the 2021-22 season. During his freshman cross-country season, Mackay recorded a top-25 finish at the Mountain West Championships with a time of 24:14.7 in the 8K and represented the Broncos at the NCAA West Regionals with a 33rd-place finish and a time of 30:30.7 in the 10K.
Alongside his athletic accomplishments, Mackay is a four-time Academic All-Mountain West (fall 2021, spring 2022, fall 2022, fall 2023).
Prior to his collegiate career at Boise State, Mackay graduated from Alder Granger in Lancashire, U.K., where he was a four-sport athlete. He recorded fourth-place finishes at the World Junior Championships and European Mountain Running Championships in 2019, helping Great Britain win gold at both events. He has also competed in eight International Mountain Running Championships representing his home country.
