- Ran a career best at the Outdoor Music City Challenge of 3:57.50 in the 1500m
2025 Indoor (Sophomore)
- Earned a mile PR of 4:17.63 at the Music City Challenge
2024 Outdoor (Freshman)
- Scored season bests in the 800m, with a time of 1:57.65 and in the 1500m, with a time of 4:00.39 at the Georgia Tech Invitational (4/19-20)
- Recorded a 12th place finish at the Joe Walker Invitational (4/5-6),as well as a season best time in the 5000m of 15:21.32
2024 Indoor (Freshman)
- Finished 12th and scored a season best time of 2:33.86 in the 1000m at the Commodore Challenge (1/12-13)Â
- Ran a season best time of 4:19.30 in the mile at the Music City Challenge (2/9-10)
Prior to Belmont: Macdonald joins the Bruins from Glasgow, Scotland. While competing at Hillpark Secondary School, he claimed multiple medals while competing in Scottish U13 ,U15, and U17 trials. In 2021, he claimed the short course cross country championship. In 2022, while competing at the club level, Macdonald earned the U17 cross country championship.
